My name is Sigmund Kasatkin. I'm a freelance photographer based in Wakefield, West Yorkshire.

I got my first camera (a Kodak Brownie 127) when I was still in junior school over 40 years ago and I've been taking photographs ever since.

I shoot weddings, schools, events, and sports (mainly Rugby League).

My day job has always been in computers, so the advent of digital photography meant I could combine both my passions and I believe I was one of the first photographers in the area to change to a totally digital workflow.

As a wedding photographer, I have been shooting totally digitally for a number of years and offer a wide range of album styles, including the amazing GraphiStudio Wedding Books at very affordable prices.

On the sports front, Dave Williams and myself co-founded RugbyLeaguePhotos.com in 2000. We provide Rugby League images to the press and also to illustrate numerous books and magazines. Our current online library contains in excess of 80,000 images.

The Subrisi schools photography concept is a natural progression in combining photography with computers and the internet. By relieving the schools of all administration tasks and money-handling issues, this is a great benefit to schools and parents alike.
